The product LW-P117-C7S from brand Linkwylan® is a full shielded RJ45 type Cat.7 field termination connector with tool-free connection function, which provides 10GBit application for your network cabling. The field connector is suitable for assemble with Cat.6A/7 23-24AWG network cables. The connector material is Zinc-alloy diecasting design, with IP20 industrial grade protection. It supports PoE/PoE+/4PPoE power over ethernet up to 100 watt, the standard conforms to TIA Category 6A channel & ISO/IEC Class Ea channel 10GBase-T 600MHz. The Catagory 6A/7 components support transmission frequency of 10GBit per second (10GBase-T) is achieved over a cabling distance of 90 meters in permanent link and 94 meters in channel link. The use of shielded components of category 6A (class EA) are the current main solution for building LAN cabling system.

The Catagory 6A/7 is the typical backbone cabling standard for 10GBit transmission.
The Cat 6A/7 components are mainly carrying on the indoor cabling upon FTTH/FTTO.
It is RJ45 standard interface compatiable.
The Cat 6A/7 plug is for field assembly with the Cat 6A/7 installation cable in order to achieve a transmission speed of 10GBase-T.
The standard permanent link length is 90m and the standard channel link up to 94m.
The field connector accepts 23-24 AWG solid and stranded round type of LAN cables.
It is mainly used for temporary fitting on installation cables for repair & maintenance,
or as a long-term connection in the tough cabling nvironment. As a toolless design, it also save a lot of installation time.

The whole Category 6A/7 copper cabling solution, which includes the Cat 6A/7 field termination plug, Cat 6A/7 keystone jack
from Linkwylan® transmit up to 10Gigabit per second (90m) in the Permanent Link over the backbone cabling of the IT/Network room.
Additionally, the copper cabling components transmit 10 Gigabit per second (94m) in the Channel Link in accordance with TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC 11801 standards, and this means the main backbone usage for LAN cabling in buildings.
